How To Launch An App Successfully? Your First Or Next!

Jun 9, 2012   //   by admin   //   How To Make An App  //  No Comments

In 2008, Steve Jobs introduced the App Store, a platform for downloading applications, which would allow developers to join phone users around the world, and this, without the resources of a large company. For independent developers, it was now possible to turn an idea into iPhone and enjoy the App Store to distribute hundreds of thousands of people.

Many developers have started the quest when the App Store, which led to several “success stories”. However, the number of applications available has soared rapidly and has now surpassed the 500 000 applications. You can still discover how to make your first app. We now use several techniques to increase our chances of success on the App Store. I actually tried several of these techniques during the development of two applications I have published on the App Store with the help of a friend. The first, Groove, has now exceeded 500,000 download and the second, Groove iPad, ranked among the top 10 positions in the music category in over 20 countries.

The aim of this paper is to use my experience and share some of the most effective tips to anyone who wants an idea to implementation and post it on the App Store with the best chance of success when it comes to see how to launch an app.

Even if your application is unique, it meets a need and it has been developed with great attention to detail, your biggest challenge will first attract the attention of potential users by providing an excellent first printing. Key elements to consider: the application name, icon, the note and screenshots.

To launch your app, start by making a search on the App Store so you know your competitors and imagine yourself to be a potential user that runs the same search results. Your challenge now is to find an icon that will differ from those of your competitors. It is essential to hire a graphic designer to create an icon of high quality, keeping in mind that this is the first thing you look at potential users.

Regarding the name of the application, it must be explicit and representative of what the application does. Most users will not have the patience to read the complete description of your application.

Then, the average score of the current version, displayed in search results on iPhone, users also greatly influenced. Choose the latter, in most cases, applications having obtained the greatest number of notes because they demonstrate certain popularity. You should therefore encourage users to note your application by integrating a library like RateThisApp. This practice is not recommended by Apple, claiming that it harms the user experience. By cons, for developers, this is a unique opportunity to obtain feedback from users, in addition to increasing the number of notes that will be displayed in search results.

Finally, when a potential user will see the details of your application, you probably skip over the description to view the first screenshots that will convince him of the quality of your application. I recommend you to hire a graphic designer and put a special effort to refine these few screens. Thereafter, if the user is still interested, he will return to the description that will captivate the very first paragraph. Finally, you should favor a short list of features that distinguish your application rather than long paragraphs of text.

Many developers believe that the job is finished once the application is submitted to Apple, when in fact I would say there is at least half the job. Before launching the application on the App Store, it is important to create a craze, a “buzz” to ensure that as many people download the application in the first days following the launch. 7758832526 cc8f681e48 How To Launch An App Successfully? Your First Or Next!
by A Guy Taking Pictures under CC-SA This will increase its ranking and give it a higher visibility in the App Store.

Above all, when you submit your application to Apple, you’ll need a website and a link to user support. So why not create it early in the development process and use it as a promotional medium? Make sure that there contains the following elements:
The establishment of a Facebook page is also a must for creating a craze. You can put a preview of your application, as well as news on its development. Think of a way to encourage people to become fans of your page. For example, you could take some of the 100 promo codes you have.

Of course, other social networks like Twitter and Google +, can also be used as a promotional tool, provided you have enough time to maintain good content.

There are many sites dedicated to iPhone and iPad applications that offer a very interesting showcase for applications outside the App Store. However, these sites receive literally hundreds of requests from developers seeking exposure for their creation. You will need to be well prepared if you want your application is selected for a review or article.

First, always use a customized email to the site you contact. Your email will have a better chance of attracting the attention of the site editor will be less and perceived as spam. Then, show him the uniqueness of your application that might interest readers. Finally, it makes it easy for life to the fullest by providing the following information:
Prior to launch, you can also use the tool to send TestFlight version “beta” sites that agree to publish overviews of applications before they are available on the App Store.

After the launch, include a promotional code directly to allow the editor to download and try your application for free. Creating a video demonstration can also increase your chances of being selected because it allows editors to preview your application without having to install it. Finally, the site The Daily Show can also App Review video from your iPhone or iPad, which can then serve as a demonstration video.

After the publication of the application on the App Store, several tools can help you analyze its performance and react accordingly. For starters, the tool allows Flurry Analytics, among other things, to know the location, device type (4 iPhone, iPad second generation, etc…) And the version of operating system (IOS) of your users.

This tool also lets you know the markets where your application is the most popular, and thus the language of your users. Moreover, the latest statistics from advertising network AdMob shows that downloads of mobile applications are growing faster in Asia (Japan, China and India) than in North America and Europe. In this context, it may be beneficial to your application translated into languages spoken in these new markets by using services like ICanLocalize and iPhoneLocalizer, the latter being specialized for the Asian market.

Finally, I recommend the tool to track AppFigures rankings and download of your application in every country. Moreover, this tool also includes a function that translates and user reviews in the language of your choice. Read all notices and take this into account. Many users will even change their rating favorably if you make an update that fixes a problem reported or adds a feature offered.

How To Set Your Iphone App Price?

Jun 5, 2012   //   by admin   //   How To Make An App  //  No Comments

Lower prices can, indeed, sell more and example of Veiled Games is just one among many. Their latest game, Up There [1.1 - U.S. - 1.59 ] has achieved success thanks to its entry into the first page of the App Store U.S., something that, now well-established, can boost sales so exceptional. Shortly after the recommendation by the teams of Apple (A on the graph), developers lower the price of their game to the floor price, 79 cents (B) which further accentuates the phenomenon. Up There then enters the Top 25, but it does not last and as expected, sales declined very rapidly.

In the graph, the C indicates when publishers came back to the original price (1.59 ). When making an app, this choice, they say, has not been easy: sales fell and then fell even faster. However, they do not regret this choice, because it allowed them to stabilize their income.
The lesson of this example is very well summarized by David Frampton of Majic Jungle blog software originally; in particular, Chopper [1.1.1 - U.S. 4271795260 f26f7f71cf How To Set Your Iphone App Price?
by The U.S. Army under CC-SA - 3.99]. “If the status of your application down, increase the price, if the rank increases, lower the price” (“If the rank drops, if it sores, decrease price. Yeah, it’s backwards.”). This principle may seem contradictory, but is in fact and in appearance.

First, David Frampton said that 79 cents is not a satisfactory long-term prices and a bad idea. At first, this price may seem interesting indeed, with sales rising strongly, but soon the bubble burst and after a few weeks / months, only a few copies will be sold per day. At 79 cents (less twenty cents recovered by Apple), these sales will yield nothing. And what then? A price reduction is, of course, impossible, unless we give its application, but the goal of every developer is still to make a living. Although in the case of very specific applications, a free passage can yield positive opinions and so “run”.

The other default of 79 cents is the price that makes the application accessible to everyone, including those who buy at random and one that will very negative opinion without real reason. Thus, it appears that the application is less expensive, more negative comments it receives. Of course, it is not an infallible rule and against-the examples are many, but it is undeniable that the applications at lower prices allow impulse purchases of applications deleted within minutes of purchase and lowered by a minimum score. The latest version of the system which encourages applications note their removal contributes to this: who would buy an application for eight Euros and remove the negative note after a minute?
Hence the general lesson suggested by David Frampton: if an application approach of the Top 100, do not hesitate to sell out to enable a quick and efficient climbing. But soon she begins to fall, we must go back to keep the price of viable income. Once out of the rankings, you will be dealing with a market “normal” and will then seek the equilibrium price.

How To Create An App Without Coding Skills?

Jun 3, 2012   //   by admin   //   How To Make An App  //  No Comments

A growing number of people make applications on the market of their suppliers, earn money and also make headlines for themselves in the world of cards and note cards. If you missed jumping on the movement of mobile application development, you will need to learn to create an iPhone app, make a good app is actually much easier compared to most expect.
This is what you must do to develop your own application for your private business.

The first thing you need to do to understand how an app is to achieve a marketable approach. It should be fun, useful and protected forever – or, if you want to ask something that another company has created like yours, make sure you have a lot of money that you are losing with during the time of Court. Depending on what your business can be, this could be something of a calculator in a game of Tetris-style. It is best to organize a brainstorming program for this purpose. Narrow it to one or two ideas before proceeding.

The next step is to actually create the application. You need to know how to plan to develop an application cell. This is one of the biggest myths when it comes to creating the app. All you need is the two programs and perhaps some money. There are also many sites that also offer advice on how to make an iPhone application that is sold.

Then you need to build your application visually so that it can appeal to customers. It should be easy to navigate and also for the eyes. AppMakr, one of many programs that help in this area, is an excellent choice for the configuration of the app. Surprising,
AppMakr is free. 6431867411 25b938972e How To Create An App Without Coding Skills?
by Jonathan Kos-Read under CC-SA There are more online tools that help create the implementing provisions for people in specific sectors, such as the music industry. It could be really useful in research if you have a niche market.

After that, you need to start offering some features your application. One way to do this is to use several programs to create the application for a lower cost. It may seem nice now, but no use it will download about as often as a seat, an apple or other object in real life. Basic functions of application can be installed with AppMakr, creating your application using a web interface. Programs like isits can help integrate RSS feeds from various sites in your application in an easy to use package. More advanced features, like streaming video, should be done through Swebapps.

Most people who have created apps, however, swear by applications all in one program, design and make the application in a single program. They have different sections that allow you to modify your application’s look, features, descriptions and more. A program growing in popularity in this class by the name of Bizness Apps app can create your company’s business with little fuss. If you do not produce the application using their program, staff in charge of Bizness Apps that will create for you. Prices for these types of programs usually run on a monthly basis and can be anywhere from $ 20 to $ 40.

Many might wonder how an iPhone application more easily and quickly. Needless to say, there is an even easier to make an app to consider commissioning a person who is competent at html coding HTML5, or knows how to make an iPhone application using Apple’s SDK from scratch. It provides all the customization that needs an organization with a custom background and unique features for your own application.
