How To Launch An App Successfully? Your First Or Next!
In 2008, Steve Jobs introduced the App Store, a platform for downloading applications, which would allow developers to join phone users around the world, and this, without the resources of a large company. For independent developers, it was now possible to turn an idea into iPhone and enjoy the App Store to distribute hundreds of thousands of people.
Many developers have started the quest when the App Store, which led to several “success stories”. However, the number of applications available has soared rapidly and has now surpassed the 500 000 applications. You can still discover how to make your first app. We now use several techniques to increase our chances of success on the App Store. I actually tried several of these techniques during the development of two applications I have published on the App Store with the help of a friend. The first, Groove, has now exceeded 500,000 download and the second, Groove iPad, ranked among the top 10 positions in the music category in over 20 countries.
The aim of this paper is to use my experience and share some of the most effective tips to anyone who wants an idea to implementation and post it on the App Store with the best chance of success when it comes to see how to launch an app.
Even if your application is unique, it meets a need and it has been developed with great attention to detail, your biggest challenge will first attract the attention of potential users by providing an excellent first printing. Key elements to consider: the application name, icon, the note and screenshots.
To launch your app, start by making a search on the App Store so you know your competitors and imagine yourself to be a potential user that runs the same search results. Your challenge now is to find an icon that will differ from those of your competitors. It is essential to hire a graphic designer to create an icon of high quality, keeping in mind that this is the first thing you look at potential users.
Regarding the name of the application, it must be explicit and representative of what the application does. Most users will not have the patience to read the complete description of your application.
Then, the average score of the current version, displayed in search results on iPhone, users also greatly influenced. Choose the latter, in most cases, applications having obtained the greatest number of notes because they demonstrate certain popularity. You should therefore encourage users to note your application by integrating a library like RateThisApp. This practice is not recommended by Apple, claiming that it harms the user experience. By cons, for developers, this is a unique opportunity to obtain feedback from users, in addition to increasing the number of notes that will be displayed in search results.
Finally, when a potential user will see the details of your application, you probably skip over the description to view the first screenshots that will convince him of the quality of your application. I recommend you to hire a graphic designer and put a special effort to refine these few screens. Thereafter, if the user is still interested, he will return to the description that will captivate the very first paragraph. Finally, you should favor a short list of features that distinguish your application rather than long paragraphs of text.
Many developers believe that the job is finished once the application is submitted to Apple, when in fact I would say there is at least half the job. Before launching the application on the App Store, it is important to create a craze, a “buzz” to ensure that as many people download the application in the first days following the launch.

Above all, when you submit your application to Apple, you’ll need a website and a link to user support. So why not create it early in the development process and use it as a promotional medium? Make sure that there contains the following elements:
The establishment of a Facebook page is also a must for creating a craze. You can put a preview of your application, as well as news on its development. Think of a way to encourage people to become fans of your page. For example, you could take some of the 100 promo codes you have.

How To Set Your Iphone App Price?

A price reduction is, of course, impossible, unless we give its application, but the goal of every developer is still to make a living. Although in the case of very specific applications, a free passage can yield positive opinions and so “run”.
The other default of 79 cents is the price that makes the application accessible to everyone, including those who buy at random and one that will very negative opinion without real reason. Thus, it appears that the application is less expensive, more negative comments it receives. Of course, it is not an infallible rule and against-the examples are many, but it is undeniable that the applications at lower prices allow impulse purchases of applications deleted within minutes of purchase and lowered by a minimum score. The latest version of the system which encourages applications note their removal contributes to this: who would buy an application for eight Euros and remove the negative note after a minute?
Hence the general lesson suggested by David Frampton: if an application approach of the Top 100, do not hesitate to sell out to enable a quick and efficient climbing. But soon she begins to fall, we must go back to keep the price of viable income. Once out of the rankings, you will be dealing with a market “normal” and will then seek the equilibrium price.
